Boothbay Register Community News and Notes

 

Many thanks to Mary Lou Teel whose event drew a big crowd to our office. And thanks, too, to Hannaford for the delicious desserts, to Chris Armstead and the Sherman American Legion Post for the technical support and to Boothbay Region TV for recording it. We'll post a link to the recording when we have it so those who couldn't join us will be able to see it.

Thanks to Bethany Schmidt from the Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library who will be at the Center on Aug. 20 between 11 a.m. to noon. Bethany will help those looking to solve technology issues with their iPad and cell phone.

 

Do you play bridge or want to learn? We have a great teacher who is ready to offer lessons during the week. Please give us a call if you would like to join in. 633-9876.

 

On Fridays, some of our guests participate in a discussion group from 10 to 11:30 a.m.  While the group tends to be predominantly men, ladies are welcome to join in. Meeting dates and the topics are random, depending on attendance. Call that morning to see if a group is meeting.
